CHAMBERY INN

The Chambery Inn occupies a 19th-century schoolhouse transformed into a nine-suite boutique hotel. Original blackboards and tall ceilings remain in several rooms, preserving the building's academic past. The inn's French-inspired decor and preserved architectural details set it apart from standard lodging.

Each of the nine suites at Chambery Inn offers 500 square feet of space, gas fireplaces, and jetted tubs. Some rooms include canopy beds, spa baths, and original chalkboards where guests leave messages. La Savoie Deluxe and Le Lycée are among the named suites, with the latter featuring extra-high ceilings and a roll-top desk.

A complimentary continental breakfast is delivered to each room every morning in a picnic basket. Guests choose from locally sourced scones, quiche, yogurt, granola, and fresh coffee. The breakfast basket includes a local newspaper for a relaxed start to the day.

Chambery Inn sits on Main Street in Lee, within walking distance of restaurants, shops, and the Berkshire Scenic Railway Museum.
